Rev. Sharon Moore
Saying Good-bye....Funerals and Memorials
Working for Hospice of the Chesapeake since 1995,
first as a volunteer, then as an on-call chaplain, and
now full-time, has given me many opportunities to
officiate at funerals. While a somber occasion, it is
always good to keep in mind that the funeral is both a
time to say good-bye and a celebration of your loved
one's life, well-lived.
The funeral home will help you make choices about
most of it. However, if you want an individual touch,
call me and I will sit with you, help you write the
eulogy, say the final words at the funeral home, for the
internment or at a personal memorial service, and do
whatever I can to make the transitional time easier for
everyone. If you are looking for bereavement care and
you are in Anne Arundel or Prince George's County,
Maryland, I will ensure The Life Center at Hospice of
the Chesapeake contacts you. I am a
non-denominational minister in good standing with
LCCC.
